For the 2017-2018 school year we have the following vacancy:

 

Technology Education Teacher:  Applicants must have a valid PA instructional certificate for Technology Education, Industrial Arts/Technology or Industrial Arts qualified to teach technology education courses in grades pre-kindergarten through grade 12.

 

Knowledge of effective instructional and assessment practices is essential.  Applicant must be qualified to teach Biotechnological Systems, Informational Systems, and Physical Systems; STEM courses; and Construction Technology, Production Industries Technology, portions of Communications Technology and portions of Engineering Technology.  Preference given to candidates with dual certifications.  Applicants must demonstrate strong leadership skills, knowledge of curricular areas, and effective instructional assessment practices, have experience with the effective use of instructional technology, superior communication and planning skills.

Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach: Applicant is expected to execute all duties required for an effective athletic program involving participating student athletes.  Head coaches are responsible for the supervision of the athletic program and other Girls Basketball Coaches under their direction and of all participating student-athletes.  Knowledge of basketball as well as District procedures and guidelines and PIAA rules and regulations is necessary.  Must have knowledge of program planning, basketball, and budgeting.  Must possess excellent communication, problem solving, and organization skills.

 

Assistant Junior Varsity Girls Basketball Coach: Applicant is expected to assist the Head Varsity Coach with executing all duties required to produce an effective basketball program for student-athletes.  Knowledge of basketball as well as District procedures and guidelines and PIAA rules and regulations is necessary.  Must have knowledge of program planning, basketball, and budgeting.  Must possess excellent communication, problem solving, and organization skills.

 

Head Junior High Girls Basketball Coach: Applicant is expected to execute all duties required for an effective athletic program involving participating student athletes.  Head coaches are responsible for the supervision of the athletic program and the Assistant Junior High Coach under their direction and of all participating student-athletes.  Applicant is expected to work directly with the Head Varsity Coach with executing all duties required to produce an effective basketball program for student-athletes. Knowledge of basketball as well as District procedures and guidelines and PIAA rules and regulations is necessary.  Must have knowledge of program planning, basketball, and budgeting.  Must possess excellent communication, problem solving, and organization skills.

 

Assistant Junior High Girls Basketball Coach:  Applicant is expected to assist the Head Junior High Coach with executing all duties required to produce an effective basketball program for student-athletes.  Knowledge of basketball as well as District procedures and guidelines and PIAA rules and regulations is necessary.  Must have knowledge of program planning, basketball, and budgeting.  Must possess excellent communication, problem solving, and organization skills. 

 

Assistant Band Director:   Applicant will assist the High School Band Director in executing all duties required to produce an effective instructional/activity program for all assigned students.  Applicant must possess excellent communication and problem solving skills.  Knowledge of planning and organizing are essential, as well as assist in producing an appropriate marching band.
