Advanced Placement Courses
Participation Qualifications
Advanced Placement courses within the United School District are designed to deliver a postgraduate level of instruction to students with an established history of academic performance. The rigor associated with Advanced Placement selections requires that participants have the appropriate knowledge base and performance history to meet the course expectations established in the Advanced Placement examinations. The District will establish the course enrollment and participation guidelines. Students will be placed based upon rank order until the enrollment quota is filled. The rank will assign grade level a priority status in descending order. All other decisions regarding qualification will be based on the sum total of qualification categories a student meets.
