About Advanced Placement

United High School offers a variety of courses approved by the College Board as Advanced Placement courses both in-person and through Virtual High School (if not offered in-person). These courses are college-level classes students can take while still in high school. They offer challenging coursework and a taste of what college classes are like.

All students registered for an AP course will be required to:

  • complete a pre-assignment, which must be completed for the first day of class

  • take the AP College Exam at United High School
