We also celebrate Jimmy Tweardy for an outstanding achievement—placing 1st in Introduction to Information Technology! Jimmy has earned the opportunity to represent United this summer at the FBLA National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas.
We are also proud of one of our students who provided a special moment from the conference—Faith Wirick singing the National Anthem at the opening session held at the Giant Center. During the practice round on Monday afternoon, state officers shared that approximately 8,000 people were expected to attend that evening.
What an amazing and talented young individual Faith is—we are incredibly proud of her accomplishment!

The matter involved a statement a student made while on the school bus this morning which raised concerns on the part of the bus driver. At no time were students or staff threatened or in danger as the concern was investigated by school administration.
